Our Small Business
LittleGreenFarmYard is a small homegrown business focused on farm-themed education and old-fashioned family fun. We provide raw natural fibers in our llama fiber felting kits, quality paints and craft materials in our activity sets and wooden games, and child-safer products in our farmyard slime and gluten-free playdough. Our commitment to the use of natural, sustainable materials ensures high quality items for our valued customers and their family members.
Our Community and Valued Resources
At LittleGreenFarmYard, we're proud to be a part of the local community. We work closely with other farmers and artisans to promote local agriculture and support small businesses. We offer educational programs to teach people about the importance of protecting our valuable natural resources, with a special emphasis on groundwater. We also donate our time, products, and a portion of our profits to local charities and organizations that support our community.
Our Herd
Our delightful and lively farmyard menagerie is the inspiration for our small business. Images of our silly herd of llamas, goats, sheep, and one very opinionated goose brighten our greeting cards and products.
Why llamas?! Llamas became an unexpected lifestyle after my children were introduced to camelids through a 4-H project In southern Wisconsin. Shortly after participation in the County Fair, we brought them home - and decades later, they continue to bring us laughter on a daily basis!
